This arvo my husband asked me if I wanted to go to the oppshop with him, I have never heard those words come out of his mouth. He was finding a bucks outfit for his brothers bucks party, and of coarse I would never turn down a trip to the oppshop. This is what I found. So cheap! Incase you were wondering the dark thing next to the gloves is a hat and the things in the bowl are magnets. Have a fantastic easter!
The other week my sister and I made a crafty mobile each, inspired by dotti angel. Mine is hanging on my fan at the moment, not quite sure where I should hang it. Was going to hang it in the girls room but I just know it will get tangled in there, it already got tangled once when JT went in my room and started throwing things at it. Hmmm...
This is the 2nd piece of art work I was working on. I painted it for my cousins wedding present. Her wedding was on saturday, which was also our 6th year wedding anniversary! Their initials are even the same as ours, so the gift had our initials and date just the wrong year. The jelly beans were so good, I ate far too many and got a blue tongue. It was such a great day, she looked gorgeous and the groom didn't look to bad either. 
The reception was in their backyard in a marque over looking the mountains, the view is amazing. And we even got to spent the morning at the beach before going to the wedding. Below is JT and my dad, he calls him his favourite pop and didn't leave his side for the entire weekend. 
A blank canvas is so exciting, the possibilities are never ending! 
Iv'e been spending all my spare time doing patchwork the last few months, so this week i got the paint brushes out and it was bliss. This is one of the 2 pieces I'm working on at the moment. Yes my studio is always messy, I try to keep it clean but it doesn't usually last more than a day. I haven't worked out how to be creative while being clean at the same time.
